Process Overview: Sending Product Samples for Photography

Step 1: Initial Contact and Consultation

  1. Customer Inquiry: The customer contacts us via our website, email, or phone expressing interest in our product photography services.
  2. Consultation: A brief consultation is scheduled to understand the customer’s needs, product types, quantity, desired style, and usage of the photographs (e.g., web content, marketing materials).
  3. Quotation and Agreement: Based on the consultation, a quotation is provided. Once agreed upon, a formal agreement or contract is signed.

Step 2: Preparing and Sending Product Samples

  1. Packing Instructions: The customer is provided with detailed packing instructions to ensure the products are safely packed and protected during shipping.
  2. Shipping Information: The customer receives the shipping address, along with any specific labeling or documentation requirements.
  3. Shipping the Products: The customer ships the products to our studio. We recommend using a reliable shipping service with tracking and insurance options.

Step 3: Receiving and Inspecting Products

  1. Receiving: Once the products arrive at our studio, we notify the customer of their receipt.
  2. Inspection: The products are carefully inspected for any damages during transit. If any issues are found, the customer is immediately informed to discuss further steps.

Step 4: Pre-Production Planning

  1. Styling Consultation: A detailed discussion is held with the customer regarding the styling and staging preferences, including background choices, props, and any specific angles or features to highlight.
  2. Shot List: A comprehensive shot list is created based on the consultation, outlining all the required shots and any specific instructions for each product.

Step 5: Photography Session

  1. Staging and Styling: Our team sets up the staging and styling as per the customer’s preferences. This includes selecting appropriate backgrounds, props, and lighting setups.
  2. Photography: The photo shoot is conducted, ensuring all products are captured as per the agreed shot list. Our photographers take multiple shots to provide a variety of options for the customer.
  3. Post-Production: The images are processed and edited for quality, consistency, and adherence to the customer’s requirements.

Step 6: Review and Approval

  1. Proofing: Edited images are sent to the customer for review. The customer can provide feedback and request any necessary revisions.
  2. Final Approval: Once the customer approves the final images, high-resolution files are prepared for delivery.

Step 7: Delivery and Product Return

  1. Image Delivery: The final images are delivered to the customer through a secure online gallery or file transfer service.
  2. Product Return: If the customer requires the return of their product samples, arrangements are made for the return shipping. The customer can either provide a prepaid return label or we can coordinate the return shipping at an additional cost.

Step 8: Follow-Up

  1. Feedback: We follow up with the customer to ensure they are satisfied with the photos and overall service.
  2. Future Projects: We discuss any potential future projects and maintain an ongoing relationship with the customer for any future photography needs.
